Today we pray for the safety of churches in this country. There were many shootings happened inside churches and now some leaders have been taking precaution by adopting policies to have armed guards during service times. The pastor of New Life Church in Colorado even has former Special Forces soldiers in the church’s armed safety team and for his protection as personal bodyguards. Last month the FBI had provided security training for 165 church leaders in Dallas, Texas. But people are still divided about the idea of having gun inside churches. Some support and some don’t. We pray God that He will keep us safe always, particular the children, from any harm while we worship Him at the church. The verse for today is:
(Romans 8: 38-39) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
