HUMAN JOURNEY AND HOW TO PREPARE TO MEET GOD

HUMAN JOURNEY FROM THE BEGINNING

According to the Bible, humans were created by God. The first human was Adam.

Evolution is another way to explain the origin of mankind. It’s quite opposite to the Bible. It’s just an assumption because there are still some links that are missing.

There is one big question for those who support evolutional theory: Why did the evolution stop? If it was a natural process of survival and selection and actually happened, why did it stop?

HOW TO PREPARE TO MEET GOD

AMOS 4: 12 – Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

Although this verse is for the Israelites, but at the end everyone who has had ever lived on Earth must meet God disregarding whatever his or her belief.

There are many people who don’t believe in God. For them God never exist. But there is one sure thing that everyone whoever lives on Earth must meet or more exactly, must go through. It’s death. According to the Bible, there were only two people who never experienced dead. Those were Enoch (Genesis 5: 24) and Elijah (2Kings 2: 11).

GENESIS 5: 24 – And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.

2KINGS 2: 11 – And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Even the Lord Jesus Christ must taste death in order to save some among mankind (Hebrews 2: 9).

HEBREWS 2: 9 – But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Death marks the end of human journey on Earth. After that the dead will wait for the day they shall rise again. Therefore according to the Bible, death is the state of deep sleep because all of them shall wake up one day or another. Their bodies will be decomposed and return to dust, but their souls will live on during the deep sleep state of death.

There are only two places for the dead: Those who were saved in the name of Jesus Christ will be waiting in Paradise (Luke 23: 43, Revelation 2: 7), where Abraham and Lazarus have been already there.

LUKE 23: 43 – And Jesus said unto him: Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

REVELATION 2: 7 – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches: To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.

Those who will be condemned on Judgment Day will be waiting in the grave or the temporary hell. That hell is different from the permanent one. From the temporary hell, or grave, the unsaved shall rise again to face God’s judgment and after that they will be thrown into the permanent one, or a lake of fire, for eternity (Revelation 20: 13-14).

REVELATION 20: 13-14 – And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
