It’s about more than a week before the Lunar New Year, so today we will start to pray for evangelical efforts of bringing Gospel to Asian people, and particular to the Vietnamese. This is a time to reflect and remember passed ancestors, but Vietnamese people only remember those who started settling down in Red river delta 4000 years ago. Our roots were in China long before that and if we could go back more we will find out that our ancestors came from God. He is the Creator and the First of all. We should worship Him instead of our ancestors as dictated by Vietnamese tradition. Therefore we will pray for the time when all Vietnamese people recognize that truth and come back to the Lord, the Source of Life. The verse for today is:
(Psalm 36: 9) For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
