(1Timothy 4: 16) Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
(1Ti-mô-thê 4: 16) Hãy giữ chính mình con và sự dạy dỗ của con; phải bền đỗ trong mọi sự đó, vì làm như vậy thì con và kẻ nghe con sẽ được cứu.
This verse is for Timothy only or for all church ministers after him? We think we all know the answer. The Scripture states clearly that in order for a church minister to be saved, he must take heed to the standards that Paul wrote for the young Timothy and to the true doctrine in the Bible. We believe that Paul was inspired by the Holy Spirit when he wrote this verse, thus whoever ignores those standards and don’t try hard to live them up is loosing his salvation in Christ. Perhaps some people do not agree with this kind of argument, so that means Paul was wrong and he did not inspired by God? Or he was inspired by God but sometime he was right and sometime he was completely wrong, particular about this verse? We suggest you think about it carefully to see the true meaning of the verse.
