Daily Bible

While there is so much hate from the Left in American society nowadays, particular after the election, from politicians, corporate media and Hollywood celebrities, those enemies of Christianity usually criticize Christians for not loving them enough. They use just some verses in the Bible trying to make Christians submit to them and their warp ideology for the sake of love. But one important thing that they never understand that although Jesus teaches us to love, He also teaches us do not let others deceive us. That’s why the Bible sets up a standard for us to love and to forgive only when others must repent from their sins and hate toward us. That’s why we don’t hate, don’t want to pay back what they did to us, but we try to avoid them as much as possible after identifying them, we distance ourselves far away from them, we don’t want to associate with them in any form until they truly repent. Until then we are always ready to protect and defend our loved ones from their attacks, physically or verbally.
The verse for today is:
(Luke 17: 3) Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
