Daily Bible

Although we still have Thanksgiving every year but for each passing year people seems to forget God more and more and many people don’t even have a single thanks offering to Him on this particular day. We don’t mean unbelievers. Many Christians, or they still consider themselves Christians, have not bother to come to the church for this special service to give thanks to God. For other people, this time of the year is just an opportunity to buy stuff at great discount in stores, nothing more special than that. But according to Scriptures when we pay more attention to earthly things instead of God, we eventually lose peace in our hearts and in the outside world as well. We hope after this election more people will realize that if we are going to success as a nation we should come back to God and ask for His help to over come adversaries that are out there trying to stop us and pull us backward for one more time.
The verse for today is:
(Colossians 3: 15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
