Daily Bible
Seeing the general election campaign that is going on and the accusations that the two presidential candidates are hurling to each other, we remember an old advice that could be suited for politicians: When you want to throw dirt on others, making sure that you are clean enough to do so. Otherwise, it is just foolishness in the open. But with the kind of politicians we are having now in this country, cleanliness, honesty and integrity are very strange words to them. Or maybe the female candidate thought she already has the full support of the two parties, the mainstream media and every government agencies to put her above the law so she can ignore the populace and throw dirt on anyone without being afraid of her own dirty secrets to be revealed? Or maybe politicians think that to be successful in American politic they should be better in cheating, lying scheming than to be wise and live an honorable life? Maybe that’s why, because of lacking them, politicians and government officials always require people to address themselves as your honor, your excellency, the honorable while their honor are worse than the common people on the street or have none at all.
(Job 34: 22) There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
(Gióp 34: 22) Chẳng có tối tăm mù mịt nào cho kẻ làm ác ẩn núp mình được.
