Daily Bible

Today before we go to the church to worship the Lord and to show our gratitude to Him for His love to all mankind, particularly for everyone of us, we have the time to contemplate on human nature. The Bible says that humans always sin, the difference is more or less. And there is no justice and balance among men. Let take what has happened in the last few days to be an example. The firestorm that the media and American society, particular among politicians, unleashed on the male presidential candidate relating to the bathroom recorded tape has shown the ugly side of men and the hypocrisy of American media and politicians nowadays. In the American history, there were a lot, we really mean a lot, of presidents, congressmen, politicians who were predators to women. Although there is no much public proof about their crimes or their bad behaviors, but surely there are, being kept in dark places, in safe boxes, in classified documents, and if David, son of Jessie, because of Bathsheba, would commit adultery and murder, no man can win over that temptation by himself alone when they got into power. Human history has shown clearly about that, from kings to politicians, even popes. Some of them simply have not committed that kind of sins only because they have had not a chance to do so, not because they are so holy and never think about them. There are books about a former president who committed adultery many times and was suspected of sending agents to kill his famous mistress, but the media and American society still held him as one of this country heroes. There was a former president who was suspected of rape and there are proof clearly to show his adultery with young intern, but the media and the politicians still shamelessly held him as excellent colleague and listen to him attentively every time he got on a podium, even considering his wife, a woman who not only accepted that kind of sin from her husband, has continued to indulge the husband in that kind of behavior, to be their political leader. And the hypocrisy of the media is so troublesome. If they can tell the truth about the ugly side of a man, they should also tell the truth about the others, too. That is their job. No one threaten to kill them to make them take that job at the beginning of their career. They choose it freely. They choose to be journalists, reporters, social event investigators. As we just said and say it again: No one forced them to take that job. They should understand the risk of becoming one and go full hearted for it in any circumstance, without being afraid or intimidated. But, on the contrary, they became smear agents for politicians and their job became bend-down knee one. And maybe because of threats, of big salaries, of privilege, of just wanting to be famous, they take side with whoever has power and money and blatantly hiding the truth, or even twisted it, modified it, to suit their master’s scheme and plot. The trouble is, not only the sin of others, but about the ones who know it but choose to hide it, twisted it, modified it for their advancement and money. That is corruption and hypocrisy. We also see that in all the works of other government agencies, departments and even in the court. As we expect to see soldiers who sign to willingly die on battlefield that they should have courage under fire, we also expect to see the media to do their job with honesty and integrity, but we have found none in all of them. The corruption and hypocrisy in the media and among the politicians are so widespread nowadays and they think they can get away with it. The Bible tells us that there will a Judgment day, when all mankind must stand before Christ and answer for what they did in this life. The truth will not suffer by their lies forever. One day it will come out crystal clear as it is and a lot of people will regret all eternity for the paths they have chosen for themselves.
The verses for today are:
(Matthew 13: 49-50) So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
(Ma-thi-ơ 13: 49-50) Đến ngày tận thế cũng như vầy: các thiên sứ sẽ đến và chia kẻ ác với người công bình ra, ném những kẻ ác vào lò lửa; ở đó sẽ có khóc lóc và nghiến răng.
