Daily Bible
When people are in love, they listen to each other attentively. That’s a simple sign to show one’s affection. It can be used as a measure in every aspect of life: in marriage, in politic, in friendship, at school, at workplace and particular true in the relation with God. When husband and wife don’t want to listen to each other anymore, their marriage is in danger of breaking up. When politicians do not listen well to the opinion of ordinary citizens (in their hearts, not their usual shows in public), they only serve the interest of themselves or who has the most money. When Christians do not really love the Lord, they ignore His words in the Bible although they go to the church regularly. Many read the Bible daily but very few who actually spend their time (and we mean a lot) to listen to His voice through those words. That’s why Christians are not so sure about the path they should take, how they can love others according to the truth (not the kind of blindly love that embrace everything, every behavior, every lifestyle of this world). We pray for our Christian brothers and sisters to know how to listen to God (because He is real more than everything we see with our own eyes) and to know how to love mankind according to His instruction.
The verse for today is:
(1John 3: 18) My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but (love) in deed and (love) in truth
(1Giăng 3: 18) Hỡi các con cái bé mọn, chớ yêu mến bằng lời nói và lưỡi, nhưng (yêu mến) bằng việc làm và (yêu mến bằng) lẽ thật.
