Daily Bible

A heat warning has been issued for our area today and into the weekend. The temperature will be in the mid-90 with heat index around 105 degrees. With that kind of heat people will be easily to get heat stroke or illness related to high temperature. So, today we will pray for our people, particular the old folks and young children. May God bless them and watch over them whenever they are, at home to on the road. We also hope that the air conditioning at the church will have no trouble so that we can have services as usual. During difficult time, big or small, we Christians always remember each other in prayer and we trust the Lord to provide us comfort. It is not that Christians do not need help materially but it is better to have a calm and peaceful mind first in any adverse circumstances and then we can be able to scope with situation more efficiently. Prayer is a best way to calm our mind and experience wonderful answers from God. The verse for today is:
(Psalm 33: 21) For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.
