According to government statistical report, in 2015 America has 3,977,945 newborn babies, but 1,600,208 of them were born to unmarried mothers and that trend (40% or more) has been continued for 8 straight years. We know that many of the children will have difficult childhood because of growing up without a father. That is one of many examples of the selfishness of men and women in modern time. They just want to have sexual relation to satisfy their need without any sense of responsibility for the future of younger generation, or exactly, of their own children. Many of them even engage or support abortion in order to kill the babies when they were still in their mother’s wombs so that the adults can be free to live the life style they want. Although government, courts and people continue to give explanations and reasons for the abortion practice, but that killing is still a murderous one. The fetus in a woman’s womb is going to grow into a human person, not an animal to be slaughtered senselessly, and never intended to be one. One day those people will hear the children they killed accuse them in front of the Lord Who will judge the whole world. The verse for today is:
(Jeremiah 22: 3) Thus says the Lord: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.
(Giê-rê-mi 22: 3) Đức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Hãy làm sự chánh trực và công bình; cứu kẻ bị cướp khỏi tay người ức hiếp; chớ làm sự thiệt hại cùng sự hiếp đáp cho người trú ngụ, cho kẻ mồ côi hoặc người góa bụa, và chớ làm đổ máu vô tội trong nơi nầy.
