This weekend and on Monday we will celebrate the America Independence Day. From the time of the Declaration of Independence, 240 years has passed and Americans have less freedom than before. Now with the government hysterical progressiveness, Americans don’t even have the freedom to speak their mind. In the state of New Jersey, teachers even called police to investigate a third grader for calling cakes ‘brownies’ at school (on June 16 at the William P. Tatem Elementary School in Collingswood). In the land of the free and brave, people don’t dare to say some words in public like gun, black and the same. The brave Americans nowadays are easily to be offended that some people became so traumatized because of words! Maybe a few years later brave Americans would be afraid of their own shadows. It’s so progressive that day by day Americans have less free and brave than our forefathers. But any way, we will celebrate the Fourth of July traditionally as last year and before that, cross our fingers and hope for the best to come to this nation. The verse for today is:
(2Peter 2: 19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
(2Phi-e-rơ 2: 19) Chúng nó hứa sự tự do cho người, mà chính mình thì làm tôi mọi sự hư nát; vì có sự chi đã thắng hơn người, thì người là tôi mọi sự đó.
