Daily Bible
Today we will continue to pray for our people to be safe during the new week. The carnage from the British votes to exit from E.U. will continue around the world for many months to come, even years. We do not mean it as the fault of British people (they have absolutely the rights to express their will about their own nation), but rather the fault lays with the politicians, particular true for those in leadership positions at Brussels. They have changed the E.U. from an intended economic union for prosperity into an instrument for the political few to assert control and dominion on other nations. What happened last week was the consequences of their greed and they should pay for their crimes against ordinary citizens of those European countries. Their job as politicians is to serve the public, not another way round. We rejoice with the British people and wish them well, wish them to be successful in control of their own nation and mind their own affairs instead, not by those far away, out-of-touch politicians in Brussels. We wish our brothers and sisters in Christ in that nation to be safe and prosperous from now on. The verse for today is:
(Psalm 40: 4) Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, and does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
(Thi thiên 40: 4) Phước cho người nào để lòng tin cậy nơi Đức Giê-hô-va, chẳng nể vì kẻ kiêu ngạo, hoặc kẻ xây theo sự dối trá!
