Daily Bible
Today we pray for unity in Christians churches around the nation and between Christian denominations. One of the main reasons is the differences in understanding the Bible. There are too many Christians who interpret the Bible according to their ideas and opinions, not by verses in the book. If everyone should compare verse by verse throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, for any subject that they want to know about, surely they will find the same answer. But it seems that nobody wants to do that, because it cost a lot of time and effort. For example, for a subject about faith, it would take more than a year of intensive study just to understand what the Bible says about true faith in God and Jesus Christ. It is just one of many aspects of Christian’s faith, and faith is just one subject of Christians’ life. There are many more. That’s why many people refer to interpret the Bible by their own ideas. It is quicker, easier and rather fit well with their personal interests. May God help us to truly understand the Bible according to His will. The verse for today is:
(Proverbs 28: 5) Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all.
(Châm ngôn 28: 5) Kẻ buông mình vào sự ác chẳng hiểu sự công bình; Nhưng ai tìm cầu Đức Giê-hô-va hiểu biết mọi sự.
