Daily Bible

Today we pray for Christians, particular for people in leadership positions, to come back to the Bible and trust its authority on our faith. Statistic and reality are showing that Christians do not believe the Bible entirely. They claim there are many proofs that the Bible has flaws in it. Let put it this way to think. If they believe God is the Creator and Controller of the universe and the most powerful Being, how could they think that He cannot be able to keep His book entirely free of mistakes? If we Christians believed that the Bible has lots of mistakes, that means God is not really powerful and in that case we should abandon our faith and go to search for another one better, right? How could they think that they still have faith in God and do not trust the Bible completely? Do we see the problem here about our way of thinking of the Bible? If the Bible had, even one mistake in it, that means God cannot be able to keep His book free of flaws? Lots of human authors can keep their books true to a letter, how could a powerful God not be able to do the same to His book? The Bible is the only way that humans can learn about God and it is the only thing that God has given to mankind to understand Him, why they think that God cannot keep it perfect? If the Bible is full of mistakes, what else we should base our faith on? If they think the Bible is full of mistake, why they still keep their faith on it? How could they keep teaching and preaching on a book full of mistakes? Do we see the very wrong thinking here of faith in the most powerful God with His only book full of mistakes? This way of thinking is a deception came by the evil one, but sadly many Christians, even those are in leadership positions and professors believe it. They do not even understand how silly the idea is. They think they are wise but their self-proclaimed intelligence proves that they do not have real faith in God. Why they cannot understand that if God could not be able to keep His book free of mistakes, how could He raise them from ashes? Why they cannot understand that if God could not do the small task that human publishers can do, how could He perform the most important miracle in the whole universe? Those leaders, professors and scholars are letting their high academic achievements deceive them from within and they do not even know it. That’s the way the evil works on people. May God keep us far away from them and their way of thinking of His book. We will address their proofs later as our challenge to the Christian communities. The verse for today is:
(2Peter 2: 1) But there were also false prophets among people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them and bring on themselves swift destruction.
