Daily Bible
Today we pray for this country and remember those who died fighting for the freedom that they believed. But this nation has been changed profoundly in recent years by politicians who still live, who are prospered and enjoying on the sacrifice of others and with agendas full of greed and selfishness. We remember those who died fighting wars that were created by such politicians so that this country now has more than 50 million Americans on food stamps, with millions who have no job, with more than six million millennials who cannot afford to leave their parents’ basements, with a massive debt that future generations must pay for decades to come, with eavesdropping on every citizens by government agents. Today we remember those (after being brought up lovingly by their parents) who died fighting so that politicians and their children can have more priviledges, more power, more money and more ways to ruin this country. We remember those who died fighting without the least knowledge that their deaths were planned before hand by politicians who have been sitting safely in their ivory towers, being protected by layer upon layer of secret service agents paid for by tax payers’ money, who have been quick to declare wars knowing that they or their children will never be in a harm way. Today we remember those who died fighting, who left their parent with tears, sorrow and memories so that politicians can have their full tables with children and grandchildren who have been awash themselves with luxuries. Today we remember the silent heroes of America. May they find favor in God after being cheated in this life by politicians. The verse for today is:
(Proverbs 14: 32) The wicked is banished in his wickedness, but the righteous has a refuge in his death.
(Châm ngôn 14: 32) Kẻ ác bị đánh đổ trong sự gian ác mình; Nhưng kẻ công bình vẫn có nơi nương cậy, dầu trong khi chết.
