Rhode Island has been considering to legalize the use of marijuana as recreational drug and many people support it with arguments like if the federal and state governments have not prohibited the use of alcohol, they should not do that to marijuana. They know as we know that there are lots of people never want to quit alcohol. So that argument is sure to win. Nowadays people keep asking for more freedom on everything, even things that a generation before nobody wanted to talk about, the least to do or to have it. But thing has been changed quite a lot. God has given humans freedom to choose but men often use that freedom the wrong way. That’s why there will be a judgment day for all humans at the end of time. Everyone must answer before God what they did on Earth with their freedom. The verse for today is:
(Romans 14: 10-12) For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
(Rô-ma 14: 10-12) Vì chúng ta hết thảy sẽ ứng hầu trước tòa án Đức Chúa Trời. Bởi có chép rằng: Chúa phán: Thật như ta hằng sống, mọi đầu gối sẽ quì trước mặt ta, và mọi lưỡi sẽ ngợi khen Đức Chúa Trời. Như vậy, mỗi người trong chúng ta sẽ khai trình việc mình với Đức Chúa Trời.
