Today we pray for us Christians to understand and have faith in the power of prayer. We believe that although we pray to God but not everyday. We pray occasionally, sometime we go on for many days without a single minute of prayer. And when we pray, it is for a very short time, a few minutes at the most, just enough to satisfy our guilt for forgetting it all the time. That is not prayer. It is not the kind of prayer God wants us to have for communicating with Him. The reality is people spend more time on their smart phones and tablets than Christian spend time with God. According to some survey an average user spends 3 hours 8 minutes a day on his/her smart phone. How many minutes Christians spend a day to pray to God? It would be a very short time indeed. We all know that with that kind of prayer we cannot get anything from Him, even a single answer. That’s why many people, Christians and non-believers alike, wonder why God is so silent. We must change our habit of prayer or we risk losing Him eventually in this life. The verse for to day is:
(Psalm 105: 4) Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face even more.
