Love and charity is unconditioned and based on freewill, but the leaders of European Commission seem to forget that when they want to fine other European countries that do not want to take in Muslim refugees as they dictated. The fine will be 290,000.00 Euros for each person those countries refused to have. Their decision looks like I have adopted a child and go around the neighborhood to demand other families to give me money to care for that child. The European Commission think they are entitled to lesson other countries of the compassion they should have for the refugees. Does the law of this country or anywhere allow me to go around the neighborhood lessoning other families of the love they should have for orphans and if they don’t I should ask the government to fine them heavily? Some of the people nowadays think they have the moral authority to compel others to love like them. But in the case of the European Commission leaders is a bit different. They live in their mansions with security guards, with secret service agents and with private transportation. They do not go around life like other people. So it is easy for them to tell others to love without affecting their lifestyle, but for the ordinary citizens on the street, it does. We pray God to provide the church with more people who understand what the servant-leadership means. The verses for today are:
(Matthew 20: 25-26) But Jesus called them to Himself and said: You know that the rulers of the gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.
