Daily Bible
Today younger generations (millennials, college-age) are so insecure and too sensitive to the point of ridiculous perception. They now demand safe spaces everywhere to satisfy their feeling of vulnerability. They cannot accept the hard realities of life that somewhere somehow there always will be someone ready to offend them in language, behavior or just a mere look. That’s happens because the idea of multiculturalism in society nowadays (ironically they are the ones who vigorously support it), because of different backgrounds, different parenting and different personalities. If they cannot handle that realities of life, how can they go out on the battlefield when needed to defend this nation? They want to beg for freedom, they want to beg for independence? Or they think they can beg terrorists to give this nation a safe space? Or when it comes to the time to defend this nation, that responsibility should fall on the shoulders of older generations, of their fathers’ and grandfathers’ so that they can have a safe space from all of conflicts? We pray for our children not growing up with such weakness in them. The verse for today is:
(1Kings 2: 2) Then the day of David drew near that he should die, and he charged Solomon his son, saying: I go the way of all the earth. Be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man.
