Look back to the year 2015 there is a report that it was the year to have the highest number of people executed in 25 years, a 54% increase since the year before. In total there were 1634 people executed in 25 countries around the world and the U.S. is in the top five. Most of the executions (nearly 90%) have taken place in three Muslim countries: Iran, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and they are still proud that their religion is a peace one. About U.S., it is an example that technology and advance science cannot stop criminals commit crimes. But a lot of people still believe that science and technology can be substituted for faith in Jesus. Mankind always try to find a way to reject God and they will surely continue to be disappointed with themselves in the progress. Only God can make human being better and raising up above themselves. Other human achievements are only faces outside of a rotten core. Even Christians without Jesus in their hearts are not difference much from unbelievers. We pray God everyday to help us to be better according to the Bible’ standards, to be worthy of His love and mercy. The verse for today is:
(2Thessalonians 1: 5) Which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.
(2Tê-sa-lô-ni-ca 1: 5) Đó đủ chứng cớ về sự đoán xét công bình của Đức Chúa Trời, Ngài muốn khiến anh em nên xứng đáng cho nước Ngài, là vì nước đó mà anh em chịu khổ.
