Few weeks ago the White house press secretary Josh Earnest proudly proclaimed that Obama has achieved an important reform to make sure that the country financial system is stable and taxpayers will never have to bail out banks that make risky investment like what happened back in 2000 and 2008. But on the other hand Obama administration is doing an extraordinary contradiction. According to Washington Post (a democrat leaning papers) reported that the current administration is pushing banks to make more home loans available to people with not-so-good credit in order to help the economy picks up steam, at the same time they also push Justice Department to give assurance to the banks that they will not face charges in case those borrowers default later. In other words, Obama has a scheme to help U.S. economy with a proposal that if people with jobs cannot afford to buy homes, we should encourage people without a job to have them. It’s so ridiculous. That kind of risky lending had caused the housing crash in 2008 and now they want to do it again. The politicians have been working for the benefits of the Wall street as long as people can remember but now trying to show a fake compassion for the Main street to earn votes from them, and this is what they have come up with. They do not want to create enough jobs for ordinary people (so that they will depend of government for handout) but they pretend to help them getting houses. May God have mercy for this country when it has that kind of leadership. The verse for today is:
