Yesterday we read about an enormous leak that people called ‘the Panama Papers’ in which an anonymous individual or group expose financial secrets of some of the world’s wealthiest people, at least 12 current and former national leaders and about 128 politicians. Never before the world has a chance to know something like that. The 11-million documents reveal how dirty money being channeled around the globe to avoid being taxed. Some of the people and institutions involve are famous and well known, like soccer and movie stars, kings, former presidents, prime ministers, celebrities, the CIA, casinos, mafia and communist officials. Many of them are (or had been) beloved figures of the world, and now their true faces have been exposed and we can see the ugly sides of them. In the period of advance technology, something similar like this will surely come more and more. The Scripture says that on the day of judgment, everything will be exposed completely and we will know the truth of each one who had ever lived on this Earth. We, too, should remember that day and try our best to live righteously so that on the day our lives open up there will be only things that please God. It is not impossible to live like that because God is willing to help if we humbly ask. The verse for today is:
(1Timothy 5: 24) Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.
