Daily Bible

Today we pray for our Christian brothers and sisters around the world who have been persecuted by Muslims and authoritarian regimes. According to David Curry, president of Open Doors USA, 2015 is the worst year on record for Christians. Our brothers and sisters have been beheaded, maimed, mutilated, killed, tortured, imprisoned or evicted from their homes because of the faith (not because of political conflicts). Jay Sekulow, chief council for the American Center for Law and Justice said that more than one million Christians have been slaughtered or displaced in Middle East alone. We pray God to save them, rescue them and do His justice on those responsible. May our brothers and sisters rest in peace and rejoice with Abraham and others in Paradise. The verse for today is:
(Psalm 37: 28) For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
