COMMENTARY/Exodus 35: 31
EXODUS 35: 31 – And He hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
– This verse lets us know that God is the One Who gives the Holy Spirit to humans (1Thessalonians 4: 8). The Holy Spirit is God’s power (1Thessalonians 1: 5, Romans 15: 13).
– After He comes into the life of a person, He will give them the wisdom, understanding, and knowledge of how to do things according to God’s plan. The Holy Spirit can also heal a person from diseases and sickness and/or make him perform miracles on others (Acts 10: 38).
– Not everyone can receive the Holy Spirit (1Corinthians 2: 14). Only those who obey God’s laws and live a righteous life can, and the Holy Spirit would abandon a person if he committed sins against God (Ephesians 4: 30).
