CHRISTIANS’ DETERMINATION
CHRISTIAN’S CHARACTERISTICS
Bible: REVELATION 3: 14-22
Main verse: REVELATION 3: 16 – So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor col, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

God loves us who believe in Him and want us to build for ourselves many characteristics because they will benefit us greatly.
One of many characteristics that we Christians need to build up for us to follow The Lord Jesus Christ is determination. God does not want Christians to be lukewarm.
REVELATION 3: 16 – So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor col, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
God also wants us Christians to have no regret of the past when we lived in a sinful life.
LUKE 9: 62 – Jesus replied: No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.
We Christians must have determination in our mind and in our actions because while still living in this life we are in a constant battle with Satan, the evil spirit, his demons, his minions and his evil children.
EPHESIANS 6: 12 – For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
MATTHEW 13: 25-26 – 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
Weeds are Satan’s children that live among us in this world.
The battle against Satan and his children cannot be avoided because the devil always attacks us day and night in order to destroy our lives, destroy our nation and spiritually devour us from the grace of God.
1PETER 5: 8 – Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Satan and his demons are evil spirits, therefore they don’t sleep and don’t even take break. His children are the same. They will not rest until they have done with their evil schemes which are so many.
That is why we Christians must always be alert and sober, and fight them with our utmost determination without even grumbling or arguing among us.
PHILIPPIANS 2: 14-15 – 14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.
But in order to have a complete determination in this fight we Christians must recognize the evil and who are his evil children in this life. We must also be aware of his scheme.
2CORINTHIANS 2: 11 – In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are NOT UNAWARE of his schemes.
This verse emphasizes that we Christians, as children of the Light, should certainly know what Satan’ scheme is.
Satan’s children are those who support everything that oppose to God’s truth and His standards in the Bible. They are those who advance Satan’ scheme in this world.
