BIBLE COMMENTARY/Romans 15: 13

ROMANS 15: 13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

– The Lord is the God of Hope and He will bless us with a wonderful future in heaven when we believe in Him (1John 2: 25, John 3: 16) and put our hope on His promises. That’s why our lives are full of peace and joy as we are looking forward for the day we live with Him forever (Jude 1: 21).
– God will also bless us with the Holy Spirit and His power to help us living a good life while on Earth so that we can witness Him to everyone.
– Human life is full of troubles and hardship but with help from the Holy Spirit we will overcome them victoriously and enjoy life as good children of God. And with His help we can also win over temptations and keep our faith wholly in Him (1Corinthians 10: 13).
– Therefore we Christians should not grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4: 30), but instead we should listen and obey His instructions in the Bible (2Timothy 3: 16-17) as much as we can.
