BIBLE COMMENTARY/Psalm 7: 14

PSALM 7: 14 – Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.

– In this verse, God warned us that wickedness will always bring us trouble, and that whoever follows their way will get harmed sooner or later (Proverbs 13: 21).
– No one wants to be harmed, but somehow most people deal with others wrongfully. This happens because people tend to think that they come first before others, so they try to take advantage of others. It is very evident in society, in politics, in commerce, in workplace and even in school or at home between siblings.
– God wants His children to be good and to be nice to everyone (Psalm 34: 14, Matthew 19: 9), and also to avoid wicked people (Psalm 26: 5). We should be on our guard, and try our best to not be deceived by them or even associate with them in any way (1John 3: 7, 1Corinthians 5: 11, 2Corinthians 6: 14).
– To achieve it we should seek God and His wisdom in the Bible (Proverbs 9: 10). God had given us advice to verify others’ intention and actions (Matthew 12: 33-34). If we know how to use them, we will be wise and safe when interacting with people in this life.
