BIBLE COMMENTARY/Proverbs 21: 10

PROVERBS 21: 10 – The soul of the wicked desires evil; His neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.

– This verse is one of many verses in the Bible which confirms that human has soul (Genesis 2: 7). After this life the soul of everyone will be judged by God (Hebrews 9: 27) and wil receive the reward or punishment according to what they did on Earth (2Corinthians 5: 10).
– The human soul has desires, either good or bad, and according to what a person wants, he will show that he is wicked or not (Proverbs 12: 12).
– Wicked people desire evil things and they usually hurt others to satisfy their desires.
– When we know about the desires of other people, we should try our best to avoid those who had bad intention toward others to make sure that we are safe from them (Psalm 34: 14).
