BIBLE COMMENTARY/2John 1: 3

2JOHN 1: 3 – Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

– The apostle John, according to God’s will, wish us Christians to have many blessings from His love and to know His truth in Scripture,
– It also means that Christians should be loving people, who know how to love according the truth in the Bible.
– We all know that God has given the Bible to make us becoming a race of people who have heavenly wisdom while living on this earth so that we can glorify God in our daily routines,
– (Because God is Love and Just, therefore while He is willing to bless us, we need to glorify Him in order to be qualified to receive His rewards, and satisfy His justness),
– (Look at the way good parents love and teach their children to behave then we will understand this principle),
– Therefore, Christians, as God’s children with heavenly wisdom, should not love blindly like ungodly people who walk in darkness,
– We must love others according to the truth in the Bible, to the commands and teaching of our Lord God,
– When we know how to love like that, we will please God, satisfy His commands, not wasting His blessings we received from Him on nothing and can overcome deception so that we can’t be hurt by human wickedness.
