BIBLE COMMENTARY/1Corinthians 10: 13
1CORINTHIANS 10: 13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
– This verse lets us know that there is no temptation that it’s too great for us to overcome. God never allows it to happen although Satan always wants to use it as big as possible to make humans fall.
– God only allows some temptations that humans can bear and can win over, or He will show us some ways to escape them if we listen to Him and obey His commands (Matthew 26: 41, 2Peter 2: 9). People only fell before temptations when they were not careful enough or rather enjoyed themselves in temptations (Hebrews 2: 18, 1Timothy 6: 9).
– Because God loves mankind so He does not want to see humans fall before temptation and commit sins (James 1: 13), but many people just want to be in it to satisfy their desires (James 1: 14). That’s why nobody can blame God for the sins they committed. And that’s why there will be eternal punishment at the end of times for Satan and those who sinned.
– Those who depend on God to win over temptations will have a great reward in Jesus on the day He comes back to Earth (James 1: 12).

1TIMOTHY 6: 9 – But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
HEBREWS 2: 18 – For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
2PETER 2: 9 – The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
JAMES 1: 12-14 – Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: For when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
